update on 11/19

Here goes:

ALG 3 - kids are taking a test on Thur, 11/20 over chapter 3 and will move on to the last general chapter for this semester and that deals with conic sections. They will have the opportunity for two more test grades following the Thanksgiving break.


STATS - they are taking a test on Thur, 11/20 and will continue to work on different hypothesis tests for the remainder of the semester. They have two more exams after the week break and a handful of quizzes.

INF ALG 2 - They are taking a test on rational and all zeros on Thur, 11/20 and will then move into a unit of logarithms. This next topic and the overall topic of matrices will be the last subjects that they will have for the course.

This is what is going on this week -

Alg 3 Working on chapter 3 - finding zeros of polynomial functions and various graphing elements. They have a quiz on Thur, 11/13.

Stats - working on the various hypothesis testing procedures. They have a quiz on the basic hypothesis tests this coming Thur, 11/13.


Inf Alg 2 - we have been working on quadratics, both solving them via quadratic formula and graphing them and finding the vertex and x-intercepts. Test is on Thur, 11/13.

Alg 3 - have started new material on function compositions and also inverses....will move on at the end of the week into chapter 3


STATS - have started hypothesis testing and this broad subject will be our main material the remainder of the semester.............quiz later NEXT WEEK


INF ALG 2 - have test on Thur (11/6) on radicals and complex numbers. Then will move onto quadratic formula and graphing quadratics.
